PAK Terms of Service
Effective: September 6, 2026
These Website Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at https://www.padberglaw.com/ and any related pages, content, and features (collectively, the “Site”), which are owned and operated by Padberg, Appelbaum, Knepper, a law firm located in Saint Louis, Missouri (“the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. No Legal Advice
The information provided on the Site is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Nothing on the Site is intended to be a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney regarding your specific situation. Laws change frequently and vary by jurisdiction, and the information on the Site may not reflect the most current legal developments. You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of any content on the Site without first seeking advice from a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction.
2. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Your use of the Site, including any communication you send to us through the Site (such as a contact form, chat feature, or email link), does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and the Firm. An attorney-client relationship is formed only after the Firm has (a) confirmed that no conflict of interest exists, (b) agreed in writing to represent you, and (c) you have signed a written engagement or fee agreement with the Firm.
Please do not send us any confidential or time-sensitive information through the Site. Information you submit may not be treated as confidential or privileged, and sending it does not obligate the Firm to keep it confidential or to represent you.
3. Time-Sensitive Legal Matters
Personal injury and other legal claims are subject to strict deadlines, known as statutes of limitations. In Missouri, these deadlines vary depending on the type of claim, and failing to file a claim within the applicable period may permanently bar your ability to recover. Because the Site cannot evaluate your individual circumstances, you should promptly consult a licensed attorney about any potential claim. Do not rely on the Site to preserve or protect your legal rights.
4. Attorney Advertising
The Site may constitute attorney advertising. The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely upon advertisements. Any results, case summaries, testimonials, or descriptions of prior matters described on the Site are not a guarantee, warranty, or prediction regarding the outcome of your legal matter. Every case is different and must be evaluated on its own facts and circumstances.
5. SMS Messaging
Client Intake & Appointments. Text messages include scheduling an initial call, appointment reminders, intake follow-ups, and secure links for e-signing documents.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or you can get help directly at info@padberglaw.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy: https://www.padberglaw.com/privacy-policy/
6. Google

8. Intellectual Property
The Site and all of its contents, including text, graphics, logos, images, page layouts, and the compilation thereof, are the property of the Firm or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. 9. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources that are not owned or controlled by the Firm. We provide these links for your convenience only and do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the content, products, services, or practices of any third-party site. Accessing any linked website is done at your own risk, and you should review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE FIRM DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. The Firm does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that the information on the Site is accurate, complete, or current.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the Firm or its attorneys, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Site, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if the Firm has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Firm and its attorneys, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
13. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at [PRIVACY POLICY URL], which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect information.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Site. Changes are effective when posted, and the “Last Updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
15. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding relating to the Site or these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Saint Louis, Missouri, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
